Book Blogger Hop: Moving Books Around

shelfQ: Do you re-arrange and move books around on the shelves or move books off of your bookshelves to another area after a certain amount of time or do you just leave them the way they are? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

A: I currently have 2 shelves that get moved around regularly, and then a bunch of books in bins under my bed. My original bookshelf was huge but didn’t fit with our new couch, so I had to give it up. The new, smaller, shelves are essentially “I need to read these” and the other is “I just finished reading these”.

    1. haha… Yeah, that’s what my “to-read” shelf was as well. I was sure I was going to get through all these old ARCs and books that have been sitting around forever. But new books just keep coming and I have no willpower. 🙂

  1. We moved to a small city apartment a few years ago, so at this point I only have one largish bookcase. I keep my number of books down by buying ebooks and requesting eARCs from Netgalley and Edelweiss. It helps a lot. 🙂

  2. I don’t have much space, so my books pretty much stay where they are unless I buy a new book and need to adjust the others to make it fit 🙂
