Book Blogger Hop: Past Blogs vs Current Blogs

social-1989152_640Q: Do you ever go “way back” to when you first started blogging and look at your old review posts? Do you see any differences from then to now? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

A: I’ve looked back at my original blogs now and then, especially when I make a serious alteration to the design of my blog. I took out a few old posts that didn’t fit with what I was going for, and added some elements that were missing from early posts. I think that I was more cautious back then. I was also very sure that without posting all the time that people would give up on me. I have realized now that blogging is such a personal thing for me, so I’m while I really love having readers, I also want to make sure that I’m having fun with it. If I don’t feel like blogging for a while, I don’t feel so bad anymore. I just take the break that I need.

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer that runs from Friday to Thursday.

Visit other blogs in the list and comment on their posts. Try to spend some time on the blogs reading other posts and possible become a new follower.  The purpose of the hop is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

  1. I haven’t re-designed or added very much to my blog in a couple of months, but YES! You are right, that normally is when I alter older posts…! And for links of course.

Thanks for visiting me earlier on, hope you will have a good weekend.
